I didn’t come from a family that sent their kids to college. I had to figure it out on my own. I have always been intelligent, creative and driven. Right out of high school I applied for jobs I wasn’t qualified for, and with persistence I got them. I probably wore my potential employers down, convincing them I could learn the job. Realistically, I had no business going after the jobs and promotions I went after. It worked…and I worked hard and excelled!
I’ve always had an intuitive gift for sales. The first part of sales is always selling yourself. You can only sell your true, authentic self or you come across as untrustworthy and phony. My career growth has been a progression of my natural instincts.
Sales, marketing, networking and teaching are some of my God given strengths. I was already earning six figures by the time I was in my mid-twenties and have continued to expand my career for the last 35 years.
Along the way, I started mentoring others in both personal and professional areas of their lives. I mentored kids, teens, adults, moms, and professionals. It has always been a joy to use my journey, both good and bad, to help others. I love offering support and encouragement. I am honored to witness positive transformation in someone that is putting their trust in me.
Helping and giving back is part of what I’m created for. One of the most rewarding things I do is teach various areas of mindset and healing to a class of approximately 40 at a local women’s recovery center for the last seven years. I am happiest when I’m giving back and watching people grow.
It’s for these reasons that coaching is a natural progression for me. I’m doing what I love and what I’ve been called to do. For me, coaching is natural, exciting and rewarding. I’m blessed to put my life experiences to work for my clients. I’m grateful for the opportunity to impact lives, families and careers.
